Create Branches, Add Products, and Publish Them to the Storefront

This tutorial explains how to create a new branch/store, add products with categories and pricing, attach images, and publish items so they appear on the online storefront. It is designed to help a team member complete the setup accurately and efficiently.
Key Steps
1. Log in and confirm the branch/store you will work in 0:00
- Log in to the provider account.
- Confirm which branch/store you will use for product setup.
- If needed, create a new branch before adding products.
2. Create a new branch if required 0:25
- Go to the branch selector in the top-left area.
- Click New Store / New Branch.
- Enter the branch name (for example,
Wigza Store 3). - Click Create to save the new branch.
- Use this step when managing multiple stores under one provider.
3. Open the product catalog 0:57
- Navigate to Catalog.
- Select Products.
- Use this area to add and manage products, categories, modifiers, images, and storefront visibility.
4. Plan product data before entering items 1:17
- Prepare a product template or item list before manual entry.
- Gather the following for each product:
- Product name
- Supplier
- Department/category
- Pricing
- Item code
- Confirm departments in advance so reporting will be organized correctly.

Wigza Food). - Assign the department/category (example:

- Assign the correct department/category.
- Enter the correct pricing values.
- Click Create Product.
- Repeat for each product you need to publish.

- Click Refresh to confirm the latest items are visible.
- Create a main category if needed (example:
Cold Drinks). - Add a child category under it (example:
Soda). - Use categories to keep products organized for both staff and customers.

- Click Add Product.
- Enter the product name (example:
Coke). - Select the supplier.
- Choose the correct category path (example:
Cold Drinks > Soda). - Confirm pricing.
- Click Create Product.

- Go to the Images section.
- Add images for each product.
- Use approved images only and ensure you have permission or copyright clearance.
- On desktop, you can use a snipping tool and paste the image.
- On mobile, you can take a photo or select a file from your repository.
- Attach images to the relevant products.

- Go to the Storefront section.
- Select the products you want to make visible.
- Click Publish for all completed products.
- Confirm the products now appear as published.
12. Reorder categories and verify the live storefront 6:41
- Use the category ordering controls to arrange categories in the preferred display order.
- Open the store URL in the storefront or management view.
- Verify that products, prices, and categories display correctly.
- Confirm the published items are visible on the live store page.
Cautionary Notes
- Do not publish products until the name, category, pricing, and image are correct.
- Make sure you have permission to use any product images.
- Confirm departments/categories before entering many products to avoid reporting issues later.
- Double-check supplier selection and pricing fields before saving.
- If you are managing multiple branches, ensure you are working in the correct branch before adding products.

- Prepare a product spreadsheet or template before entering items manually.
- Add products in batches to reduce repetitive work.
- Use consistent naming conventions for products, suppliers, and categories.
- Create categories first if you already know the product structure.
